Santa Ana house fire: 3 occupants, 1 firefighter hurt

SANTA ANA, Calif.

There were four occupants in the home when the fire erupted just before 6 a.m. on the 1900 block of South Artesia Street.

Three people were taken to a local hospital with minor burns and smoke inhalation. One firefighter also sustained minor burns to his face.

Fire officials said the family did not have an alarm. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

Damage to the house and its content is estimated at $450,000. The home next door was also damaged.
