On Monday, witnesses saw three male suspects approach a home at 1837 Hubbard St. and toss an unknown object into the residence. A short time later, authorities say a fire erupted from within the house, which ended up being completely destroyed.
Investigators say the house had been vacant since 2004. The owners told police the loss of the home was very emotional since it had been built by their father, who has since passed away.
A surveillance camera stationed at a nearby business captured the three suspects just before they were spotted by witnesses throwing the unknown object into the house.
The first suspect was described as a white male, about 16-17 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with a thin build and shaved head. He was carrying a skateboard and wearing black shorts, a black sweater with a Volcom emblem on the back and black socks.
The second suspect was described as a white male, about 18-21 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds with a medium build. He was carrying a red backpack, wearing a black T-shirt and riding a Razor style scooter.
The third suspect was also described as a white male, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, wearing black shorts ad a dark colored long-sleeve flannel shirt.
