Sherman Oaks holiday-lights display brings joy to neighborhood

SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- One Sherman Oaks homeowner is bringing joy to the neighborhood with a holiday display that features some 15,000 lights.

The "Magic Tree" display sees hundreds of visitors during the holiday season.

"If you stand under it and you look up to the tip right against the trunk, you actually feel magic," said homeowner Lisa Lazarus.

"It inspires you. It makes you feel the spirit. It just brings joy and hope to people."

Anyone who wants to check out the "Magic Tree" can drive by the 5200 block of Costello Avenue in Sherman Oaks from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. every night until Jan. 3.
