Dance teacher arrested for lewd acts with 13-year-old

HESPERIA, Calif. (KABC) -- A dance teacher in Upland and Hesperia has been arrested for lewd acts and oral sex with a 13-year-old.

The Hesperia sheriff's station was notified of the inappropriate relationship on Friday. Thomas Cook, 22, an instructor at Dance Dynamics in Hesperia and another studio in Upland, was arrested Saturday morning.

Cook was booked at the High Desert Detention Center and was being held on $350,000 bail.

Investigators believe additional victims may be out there. Cook traveled frequently to dance competitions and conventions.

According to Dance Dynamics' website, Cook began dancing at the studio when he was 9 and was a junior teacher. He was also part of a music duo called S.C.B. or Southern Cali Boyz. His page has since been deleted from the studio's website.
