ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) -- The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is investigating after three people were found shot to death in an Ontario home Monday night.
The discovery was made just after 9 p.m. in the 4800 block of Ramona Place.
Deputies found three deceased adults at the home.
The names of the three victims were released Tuesday afternoon: Sonia Ramirez, 68; George Ramirez, 66; and David Ramirez, 43.
No suspect is in custody and no information on a possible motive or other details were immediately available. Authorities were seen searching a nearby home after some evidence related to the incident was found there. One evidence tech was seen examining a handgun.
A woman who lives next door told Eyewitness News she was startled when she saw the large police presence surrounding her neighborhood.
"They're friends of my family's," she said of the victims. "It's an older couple, they have an older son and that's who I think is there now. That's all I know."
Meanwhile, Rosie Cameron, who lives down the street from where the bodies were found, said she and other neighbors on West Ramona Place have described the home as trouble.
"Always on their minibikes, in the middle of the night, driving by, driving by," she said.
Others say the area is still fairly quiet.
"It's pretty shocking that this would happen," another neighbor said. "This street is pretty quiet, it's close to Pomona and there's a lot of gang activity, but in this neighborhood, there's not too much going on."
Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities.
CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story said the home is in Montclair. It is in Ontario.
