VIDEO: Detroit officers, undercover cops brawl in drug raid mix-up

DETROIT (KABC) -- Police in Detroit raided a suspected drug house while unaware undercover cops were inside posing as drug dealers.

The mix-up triggered a fight between dozens of heavily-armed officers. It was all captured on a police body camera.

On Wednesday, their superiors said this type of mix-up could have cost lives.

A county prosecutor will determine if criminal charges will be filed in the case.
