See a special new look at 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'

Star Wars and TGIT fans got a special new look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens Thursday night.

Shonda Rhimes introduced a new look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens during ABC's #TGIT lineup, which featured Rey, Finn, Han Solo and other characters in stunning new footage from the film.

#TGIT stars like Scandal's Kerry Washington and How To Get Away With Murder's Aja Naomi King and Jack Falahee shared their enthusiasm for the Star Wars franchise.

#TGIT fans also tweeted their excitement about the special new look.

This is just the latest of new Star Wars extras that have been released ahead of the film. Last week, new character posters for the film were released, and an exclusive new look at the movie premiered during ESPN's Monday Night Football in October.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens premieres in theaters on December 18.
