LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Locals in Long Beach are getting all reved up for the 2019 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach after doing a few laps on the race track themselves.
Participants were invited to bike, walk, skate or explore 1.5 miles of the track during the annual free event deemed, 'Grand Prix-View.'
Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia led the charge via bicycle. "It's fun to ride around for a few hours during the workday," he said.
The 2019 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach kicks off Friday, April 12th through Sunday, April 14th.
