LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A brief power outage at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday night caused major traffic delays.
The power outage began around 7:50 p.m. and impacted traffic signals, portions of two parking structures and some elevators and escalators. The outage did not impact the check-in area, security lines or flight arrival and departure times.
Maintenance workers assisted those stuck in elevators during the outage. Airport police directed traffic in areas with failed traffic signals.
No injuries were reported.
The power was restored at about 9:45 p.m.
