SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- Police in Santa Ana are trying to track down a killer after a man was intentionally run over by a car at a busy park.
The incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of Centennial Regional Park on Edinger Avenue. Santa Ana police said the victim was run over multiple times.
The pedestrian, described by police as a man in his 20s, was transported to a local trauma center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are looking for the driver who struck and killed the man.
The park was temporarily shut down due to the investigation but has since reopened.
