SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly shooting another man at a Simi Valley party.

Simi Valley Police received a report of a fight and a possible gunshot heard at about 1:47 a.m. Sunday. Officers responded to the location on the 1200 block of Patricia Avenue and found an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his upper right arm.

The victim was hospitalized at Los Robles Medical Center and treated for the non-life-threatening wound.

The victim and a witness told police there was a fight between partygoers at a nearby apartment. The suspect had already fled the location, according to police.
