2 flee on foot after car hits home in South El Monte

SOUTH EL MONTE, Calif. (KABC) -- A search is underway for two suspects who fled on foot after crashing into a home in South El Monte Sunday.

The incident occurred in the 11200 block of Michael Hunt Drive. The vehicle went deep into the house, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

It wasn't clear if anyone was inside the house at the time of the crash.
