BURBANK, Calif. (KABC) -- Mickey, Minnie and friends gave Special Olympics athletes a very special welcome at the Disney Studios Lot on Thursday.
Athletes from Botswana and Zimbabwe took a much deserved break from training to have some fun and relax.
About 7,000 athletes from 177 different countries will be competing in the games, which will feature 25 Olympic-style sports in various venues through Aug. 2.
