CULVER CITY, Calif. (KABC) -- Caelyn Griffith of Culver City will complete in artistic gymnastics at the Special Olympics World Games.

The event includes balance beam, floor routine and vault.

Caelyn, 20, can't wait to perform for the crowd at the World Games.

"I'm definitely excited for seeing my family, including my brother. He's always keeping me on my toes," she said.

Caelyn started in gymnastics 10 years ago with coach Natasha Burgos.

"Seeing her development, seeing her progress over the years, the wonderful woman that she has become, the confidence, everything else, that whole experience is amazing," Burgos said.

And the best part of being on Team USA for Caelyn?

"Meeting new people, meeting my new friends," she says. "They're friendly."
