RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- A pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver near the UC Riverside campus, and now police are searching for the driver responsible.
The incident happened on Martin Luther King Boulevard west of Canyon Crest Drive shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said they don't have any leads on the driver who left the man to die on the street.
Investigators are checking nearby surveillance cameras to see if they captured an image of the car involved.
