LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A cooling trend arrives in Southern California Friday and May gray conditions return this weekend.
Expect cloudy conditions Saturday as a cold front moves across the region. Although temperatures will drop starting Friday, the cooler conditions will become more noticeable Saturday when drizzle is possible. The light precipitation could linger into Sunday.
On Friday, Los Angeles and Orange counties can expect a high of 73 degrees and a low of 53. Temperatures drop amid a cold front this weekend, with highs in the mid-to-upper 60s.
The valleys and the Inland Empire Friday will see a high of 74 degrees and a low of 49. The weekend will be cloudy.
Beaches Friday will see a mix of morning clouds and afternoon sunshine amid a high of 64. Expect temperatures in the 60s during the weekend.
The mountains Friday will have a high of 64 and a low of 35. No drizzle is expected Saturday but there's a slight chance of showers Sunday.
Deserts Friday can expect a high of 81 degrees. Saturday and Sunday will be windy, with wind gusts as strong as 45 mph.
