DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A woman who threatened to jump off the 6th Street bridge over the 110 Freeway brought traffic to a halt in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The Los Angeles Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene and set up large air cushions below the woman.
Only one lane was open in each direction on the 110 Freeway as traffic could be seen backed up for miles.
After several hours on the ledge, the woman was talked off the ledge.
