Anaheim police seek armed robber, release photos

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- The Anaheim Police Department is asking for help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in a series of armed robberies across Orange County.

Police believe the suspect was involved in a series of armed robberies in Anaheim from June 2 to 16, and another robbery in Orange on May 28.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 30s, standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing between 170 to 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap with a red rim and a gray-hooded sweatshirt.

Police say he has a tattoo behind his left ear, and was seen carrying a gun wrapped in a bandana in his waistband.

Witnesses said the suspect fled in a light-colored, four-door vehicle.
