13-year-old girl says man assaulted her

LONG BEACH The girl told police she was walking to school Wednesday morning when a man grabbed her, took her to a back alley near 10th St. and Alamitos Ave., then assaulted her.

She described the man as an African-American in his late 40s with a mustache and salt-and-pepper hair.

Anyone with information on that suspect is urged to call Long Beach police at (562) 435-6711.
