Harry Sarafian of the Coalition for a Democratic Armenia says they are also protesting against the president's declaration of a state of emergency.
"Democracy in Armenia is in peril and here we're doing our best to show solidarity with the people in Armenia who are fighting for the democratic rights," he said.
The group also says it wants the U.S. government to pressure the Armenian government to annul the election results.
