The MTA plans to have two public hearings on the environmental impact statement this month where the public can weigh in.
Metro authorities proposed four alternatives: extending the existing Orange Line right-of-way; creating a bus-only lane along a widened Canoga Avenue; improving and enhancing the current transit system in place; or building nothing.
