Authorities said officers were questioning a man suspected of breaking into cars when he opened fire.
Officials said police shot the suspect several times. He was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
Wounded officer recovers at home
MONROVIA The officer was injured in a shootout with an armed suspect early Sunday morning in the 500 block of Duarte Road.
