"An alarm notified an employee and then we were notified," Alpuerto said. "They broke the glass to get in, and they broke into a bunch of the cases."
The burglars, who were in and out of the establishment in about two minutes, used crow bars and hammers to get to the merchandise.
"The stuff taken wasn't high end," Alpuerto said. "They mostly took bracelets and watches and various metal rings like platinum and lower end gold stuff. They also took purses of unknown brands."
Images of the burglars were captured on surveillance cameras inside the store, police said.
"This doesn't happen very often here in Glendale," Alpuerto said. "I can't recall the last time this happened."
