Police tried to stop him by laying out a spike strip and using the pit maneuver, but he got away.
The chase continued on the eastbound 101 in Sherman Oaks where police again used the pit maneuver, but the man sped off.
Police bumped him a third time with no such luck.
On the fourth try, his car finally stopped, and the suspect was taken into custody.
