Stephen King gives $13K to bring troops home

LOS ANGELES They donated $13,000 toward the cost of two bus trips for a battalion from the Maine Army National Guard.

They'll travel from Camp Atterbury in Indiana to Maine for Christmas.

The soldiers left Maine last week for training, and they're scheduled to deploy to Afghanistan next month.
