Valedictorian never missed a day of school

FRESNO, Calif. Larisa Garcia of Dinuba, near Fresno, is class president. She has a 4.6 grade point average. She is also her school valedictorian. That's impressive enough.

Larisa however, has another credit on her resume. She has never missed a day of school going all the way back to kindergarten. That is 2,340 days without an absence.

Larissa is heading to Fresno State to study accounting. Meanwhile, her younger sister is following her example. She's in 8th grade and has never missed a day of school either.
