The frightening encounters all happened in Elmont within the past three weeks.
The latest abduction attempt happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.
The man drove up to a 15-year-old boy in a dark-colored SUV. When he asked the boy to get in, the young man took off. The suspect then sped away.
Two other teenage boys have reported similar encounters.
