Funeral held for slain Riverside firefighter

RIVERSIDE, Calif. Barrios was off duty when he was ambushed, shot and killed outside his /*Riverside*/ home on Halloween.

Investigators said he was killed by Rene Trejo, the ex-boyfriend of a woman Barrios was dating. Trejo then shot and killed himself.

Barrios leaves behind an 18-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter.
