A Delta Airlines flight headed for Southern California was diverted to New Mexico Sunday morning after a note with the word "bomb" on it was found on board the plane.

Flight 1706 was headed from Detroit to San Diego but was diverted to Albuquerque. A flight attendant reportedly found the note in a bathroom.

After landing in Albuquerque, all 137 passengers and crew got off the plane and were questioned.

Authorities searched the aircraft but didn't find anything suspicious.

The flight took off some three hours later.
