Reward offered to find killer of man shot 8 months ago in Stanton

STANTON, Calif.

His mother and investigators on Tuesday asked for the public's help to catch the shooter.

Orange County sheriff's deputies went door-to-door to spread the word that there's a reward in the death of Martin Blanco Trujillo.

Trujillo was involved in an argument near Flower Avenue and Cedar Street late Sept. 17 and was shot.

Deputies were at the scene 30 seconds after 911 calls, but the suspect was already gone.

"I miss so much my son. He was a good man. And I'm here asking if somebody saw something, somebody witness anything, come forward," Maria Trujillo, the victim's mother.

Investigators believe a number of people witnessed the shooting.

Anyone with information was asked to call the /*Orange County*/ Sheriff's Department at (866) TIP- OCSD.
