OC chef dies in 3-vehicle wreck on 101 Fwy

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.

Eric Doran, 36, was killed when his Model-A T-Box Roadster crashed in Thousand Oaks on Friday. His wife, Kat, who was a passenger in the car, was critically injured.

The two were headed to a car show in Santa Maria. Doran was a hotrod enthusiast.

The /*California Highway Patrol*/ said there was construction in the area, which slowed down traffic. Doran's car rear-ended a Honda Accord and then was hit by a Dodge Ram pickup.

Doran was the co-owner of Eat Chow restaurant in Costa Mesa.
