An anonymous caller dialed 911 to report seeing a body being dumped in an alley.
Now prosecutors believe that caller may have been their suspect, Lonnie Franklin Junior.
Monday a judge ruled they could take voice-recording samples from Franklin in hopes of matching them with that 911 call.
Police say serial killers sometimes report their own crimes so they can hide near the murder scene and watch the commotion.
