Two separate robberies were reported Monday, on at Saticoy and Haskell in Van Nuys, another in the West Valley area.
Suspects reportedly fled at least one scene in a U-Haul truck.
Officers were led to believe the suspects were in the Sherman Oaks area when an abandoned U-Haul truck was discovered off the 405 Freeway at Valley Vista.
LAPD officers set up a perimeter in the area to search for three suspects considered armed and dangerous.
Two suspects were reportedly apprehended. Police continued to search for a third suspect.
At least one victim was tied up in one of the robberies. Another victim was reportedly shot, but was not hit.
