A man is suspected of impersonating bank customers and withdrawing nearly $30,000 from accounts at branches in several locations, including Newport Beach and Costa Mesa.
Authorities were still investigating exactly how he accessed the accounts. They're also looking for other victims.
Anyone with information was asked to call Newport Beach police at (800) 550-NBPD.
