Officials said the fire was report around 11 a.m. Multiple agencies, including from Ventura and Los Angeles counties, and Angeles and Los Padres national forests, responded to the fire.
By 4 p.m., the fire had had blackened about 125 acres. No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported.
Officials said lightning moved over the area overnight and that may have started the fire.
