'Eye on L.A.': The best holiday eats this season in SoCal
LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- This week Eye on L.A.is getting in the holiday spirit! Twinkling lights, tasty treats, and joyful smiles, can you think of a better time of year?! Here are some great places and food that will make you feel jolly in SoCal!
KNOTT'S MERRY FARM
Joy is in season at Knott's Merry Farm! The Wilderness Dance Hall is now Santa's Village, you can pick up a handcrafted gift at the Crafts Village and every night after sunset, Ghost Town transforms into a winter wonderland where sparking lights and snowflakes fill the air!
CHILL AT THE QUEEN MARY
The annual frozen holiday adventure is back as "Chill" takes over the Queen Mary. The giant dome is the home of The Ice Kingdom, where you'll find an enchanting walk-thru exhibit with larger-than-life ice creations, and where temperatures drop to a frigid 9 degrees! There's also ice tubing, ice skating, polar paintball, and more for holiday family fun.

LA ZOO LIGHTS AND REINDEER
L.A.'s newest holiday tradition is back and shining brighter than ever! While most animals at the zoo sleep the night away, glowing 3D animated creatures take over during the L.A. Zoo Lights Event. You may even get a chance to meet Santa and one of his real reindeer!
DISNEY CANDY CANES
Candy canes are a holiday classic and Disneyland is one of the only places where you can catch a glimpse of this oldie but goodie being made. The candy makers pull out almost two miles worth of candy canes a year!

SWEET E'S BAKE SHOP
Gingerbread houses are a fun holiday pastime, but you can pick up a fully decorated gingerbread house (or mansion) at Sweet E's Bake Shop that will make the perfect centerpiece at your next holiday party. Or get one of their kits that come with a pre-built house, ready for the kids to decorate themselves!
SALT & STRAW HOLIDAY ICE CREAM
Peppermint Cocoa, Spiked Butterscotch Eggnog, and Mincemeat Pie - flavors of the season! Would you believe us if we told you those are part of the holiday ice cream menu at Salt & Straw? For this ice cream shop in Larchmont Village, their specialty is oddball combinations that are actually totally delish.
FROZEN ON ICE
No Disney movie makes a smoother transition to the ice than Frozen. Now you can see Anna, Elsa, Olaf and the rest of the gang sing your favorite songs in the fantastic winter wonderland of Arendelle on ice.
CIRQUE KURIOS
Here's a great gift idea! How about a pair of tickets to see Kurios? The Cirque du Soleil show continues its SoCal stay at Dodgers Stadium until Feb. 7. This show has over 400 props and costumes inspired by the steampunk era that you're gonna have to see to believe!
CHRISTMAS CAROLING TRUCK
More than 100 happy carolers and dancers fill the streets with the Magical Christmas Caroling Truck covered in thousands of twinkling lights. You can catch their second run on Christmas Eve as they journey down Riverside Drive in Toluca Lake.
