GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (KABC) -- Three people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into a restaurant in Garden Grove on Monday.



The crash happened around 3 p.m. at Pho 86 Vietnamese restaurant, located in the 8800 block of Garden Grove Boulevard. Garden Grove Fire responded to the scene.



According to police, the elderly female driver was involved in a minor collision on Garden Grove Boulevard. She panicked and swerved, veering her car into the parking lot and crashing into the building.



Two people inside were hit. According to the owner of Pho 86, a worker from a nearby business and her young daughter were hit.



The driver and two victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.



A tow truck was called in to carefully pull the car from the restaurant.
