HAWTHORNE, Calif. (KABC) -- One person was killed and four others were injured in a crash in Hawthorne early Monday morning.
Authorities responded to the two-vehicle collision at the intersection of El Segundo and Crenshaw boulevards at 3:38 a.m. One person was declared dead at the scene.
Three of the injured had moderate to severe injuries, and one person had minor injuries, a fire official said.
El Segundo Boulevard, between Crenshaw Boulevard and Wilkie Way, was closed for several hours as police investigated the accident. The cause of the crash has not been determined.
