Jurupa Valley house fire kills 1 resident

JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- One person died early Tuesday morning after flames ripped through a home in Jurupa Valley.

The fire broke out at 1:40 a.m. on the 7600 block of Olive Court. The victim was declared dead at the scene.

Some neighbors even used a hose to try and stop the flames from spreading. It took crews about a half hour to contain the fire.

No other injuries were reported. Three adults were displaced due to fire damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
