Westlake shooting: Missing woman found dead along with man in possible murder-suicide

WESTLAKE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man and woman in their 60s were found dead after being shot Friday afternoon in the Westlake district, authorities said. The woman had previously been reported missing.

Officers responded shortly before 12:30 p.m. to an apartment in the 1700 block of James M. Wood Boulevard, according to Los Angeles police.

A gun was recovered at the location, an LAPD spokesperson said.
