3 in custody after Long Beach stolen vehicle pursuit

LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Three suspects in a stolen vehicle led Long Beach police on a wild pursuit through several cities before being arrested in Cerritos early Saturday morning.

The pursuit began around 1 a.m. in Long Beach and continued on the 710 and 91 freeways, as well as through the streets of Compton and Cerritos.

Police say the suspects failed to pull over during a traffic stop.

Long Beach police were eventually able to stop the female and two male suspects on a dead-end street in Cerritos. All three were taken into custody. No further details were released.
