VICTORVILLE, Calif. (KABC) -- One person died and five others were injured in a two-car crash in Victorville on Sunday.



The crash happened at 7:12 p.m. near Cypress Avenue and Lindero Street. One of the vehicles flipped over and landed on its roof. The person inside that vehicle died, San Bernardino fire officials said.



Of the five people injured, an infant, a child and a female passenger were airlifted to San Bernardino hospitals, fire officials said.



The female passenger was partially ejected and had to be extricated. It took firefighters 30 minutes to free her.



The conditions of the three people who were transported were not immediately known.



There was major damage to both vehicles, fire officials said.
