2 men shot in driveway of Ontario residence

ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation is underway after two men in their 20s were shot in the driveway of an Ontario residence on Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to the shooting in the 1400 block of East Hawthorne Street at 8:13 p.m. A man with a gunshot wound was found lying in the driveway. He was rushed to an area hospital with possible life-threatening injuries.

Police were then alerted by another local hospital that a gunshot victim was driven there by family members. The initial investigation led detectives to believe that the second shooting victim was also shot in the driveway of the same residence.

A motive for the shooting was not released, and a suspect description was not available.
