SAN FERNANDO, Calif. (KABC) -- A building fire in San Fernando Sunday killed three dogs and left a firefighter injured.



Authorities responded to the blaze in the 1100 block of De Garmo Street just after 8 p.m. It took 32 firefighters about a half hour to knock the fire down.



Three deceased dogs were found inside.



One firefighter was taken to a local hospital for second-degree burns on his hand.



The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
