Car plunges 200 feet into Malibu Canyon; 3 injured

MALIBU, Calif. (KABC) -- A car plunged into Malibu Canyon Friday night, sending three people to the hospital.

The accident occurred just before midnight on Kanan Dume Road and Pacific Coast Highway. The car drove off the road and fell 200 feet down the canyon.

Three men were rescued by helicopter and were taken to a hospital. One man suffered a broken leg. All three were released from the hospital with minor injuries.
