SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A female victim was shot near a laundromat in South Los Angeles on Sunday, police said.
The shooting happened at a laundromat near 43rd Place and Main Street around 12:08 p.m.
Los Angeles police say two gang members opened fire on another gang member outside the laundromat when one ricocheted off a wall and hit the 60-year-old woman in the mouth.
Police say the female victim may have lost some teeth, but is expected to survive. The intended victim was not shot.
LAPD Newton is investigating the incident and reviewing surveillance video.
