OXNARD, Calif. (KABC) -- Oxnard police are searching for a 7-year-old girl they say is the victim of a parental abduction.
Nadine Basquez was picked up from Marina West Elementary around 1:30 p.m. Monday by her biological mother Brenda Quiroz.

Officers are now actively searching for both Nadine and her mother.
The Oxnard Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating them. Anyone with information on their whereabouts was urged to contact Oxnard police at (805) 385-7600.
