HAWTHORNE, Calif. -- Amazon's home security startup Ring is moving from Santa Monica to Hawthorne.
A pair of warehouses will be the new headquarters, the six-year-old tech company said in a statement.
Amazon bought Ring for $1 billion earlier this year.
The relocation is one of the first moves by the retail giant for its new acquisition.
The company's 250 employees will move to the new 62,000-square-foot facility.
