Rosemead shed explosion under investigation

ROSEMEAD, Calif. (KABC) -- A man suffered serious burns to his arms and chest Wednesday after an explosion at a shed in Rosemead.



Firefighters responded at about 1 a.m. to the 8000 block of Emerson Place. They found a large fire that damaged a shed. Flames had also spread to trees and brush.



Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies temporarily evacuated five homes.



Deputies and narcotics investigators were looking into the cause of the incident.
