Teen killed in crash after speeding in Loma Linda, police say

LOMA LINDA, Calif. (KABC) -- A 17-year-old boy from San Bernardino was killed Saturday night in a horrific crash in Loma Linda.

Deputies say the teen was speeding and lost control near Mountain View Avenue and Redlands Boulevard.

His Mini Cooper crashed into a fire hydrant and power pole, ripping the car apart and spreading pieces across the road.

The crash remains under investigation.
